October 15th, 2005: Battle Creek Griffon 28 Oakland Highlanders 17
Battle Creek scored a home win against the Oakland Highlanders, in a close, hard-fought and reportedly ill-tempered game. Ken Burdette (2) , Hiram Garcia and Don Banaszak scored tries , and Dan Lowe had a successful kicking day for the Griffons, especially when nailing a sideline conversion.

The next game is Saturday October 22nd, against the Traverse City Blues at the Griffon home field.
