May 7th, 2005: Battle Creek Griffons 12 v Oakland Highlanders 32
The Griffons travelled understrength in numbers for this game at Oakland, but not understrength in their attitude to the game. 3 new players made the trip, and Coach Houser reports that Joe, Mike, and Taylor played very well in their first game. Also highly praised was Matt Bassler, who moved from prop to hooker for this game. No report yet as to who scored for the Griffons.
