The Griffons toiled manfully to get back into this game, but a quick three score onslaught by Bowling Green was too much of a margin to get back.
Tries from Sonny Johns and Jeremy Wood - see pictures - were converted by Larry Porter and Ben Overgaard, and Larry Porter slotted a penalty.
For Bowling Green, tries were scored by Andy Hughes (2), James Kuper, Craig Toslin and Boyd Davis, with one conversion by Dan Brandenstein.
It was good to see Mitch Albers returning to his home ground, this time with his new teammmates from Bowling Green, and BGSU coach Chris Hopps had good things to say about Mitch's play and has high hopes for his future with the Ohio club.
For the Griffons', an "old' face from the past re-emerged with Shane DeSimone travelling from the East Coast back to Battle Creek for the Easter holidays. Shane slotted in at fullback to help the team.
